Instant crypto exchanges have been around for a while without many people takin notice of them.
The first instant platform I found was Changelly.
At first I didn’t know what to do with it, because there was no trading interface and almost no functionality at all.
But then I realized that all instant crypto exchanges are connected to other major platforms.
This changed everything because now I could buy and trade coins from different platforms without even creating an account.
This is why these platforms are so good.
You don’t have to log in to several different places and you can find a lot of different cryptocurrencies.
The best part is that you can use your credit card to buy some of the newest cryptocurrencies on the market.
I have found a lot of very good investments on instant exchanges thanks to the variety of coins they have.
In this article, I will show you what these platforms are all about and some of their special features like:
- Supported Coins
- Deposit Methods
- Trading Fees
I would suggest that you screen the whole article before you pick your winner.
However, if you are in a hurry, I’ve made a comparison table below where you can choose your favorite.
Best Instant Crypto Exchanges Compared
What are instant crypto exchanges?
Instant crypto exchange is a relatively new term and they have in one way boosted the crypto ecosystem.
These exchanges are different from a normal custodial exchange like Coinbase or Binance, where the exchange is storing your cryptocurrency on their wallets.
On instant cryptocurrency platforms, you are in control over your own coins and wallet addresses.
This, of course, comes with some benefits and drawbacks and it all depends on what you are looking for.
So what are the trade offs?
On a normal exchanges like Coinbase or Binance you have the security of knowing that your cryptocurrencies are safely stored in offline wallets by the exchange itself.
When you register on a normal exchange you asked to send in documents of your identification and the registration process is a little bit more complex.
However, if you are using an instant crypto exchange you don’t need to go through all of the paperwork to start buying and trading cryptocurrencies or altcoins.
Since you are storing your own coins in your own wallets, the exchange is not responsible for your cryptocurrency.
And therefor, you don’t need to file KYC documents when you register.
The registration process is often much faster and simple.
Another thing worth mentioning about instant crypto exchanges is how they are operating.
The exchange itself doesn’t have an order book or their own market for different cryptocurrencies.
Most often the cryptocurrencies traded are aggregated from other traditional exchanges.
To explain this in a simple way = Instant crypto exchanges are using traditional exchanges for liquidity.
Yes, that’s right.
When you send an order to buy ETH on an instant cryptocurrency platform, the instant exchange itself will send out orders to other exchanges.
This is possible thanks to partnerships between these exchanges.
This enables you as a crypto trader to recive the best rates without the trouble of signing up on 5 different places.
Other things to take notice of when trading on an instant exchange is the trading interfaces.
You will have the possibility trade with high end charts and indicators like you normally do.
You will not be able to trade with market or limit orders.
But this is something to look past when you consider the benefits of always getting the best rates from the price algorithm that scans several other exchanges.
And of course the easy sign up process too.
Now, let’s take a look a the top 6 best instant crypto exchanges on the market 2020.
How can I get crypto instantly?
The easiest way to buy cryptocurrencies instantly is through an instant platform.
These platforms are not like traditional crypto exchanges where you have your wallet and regular trading interfaces.
In this review I’ve listed some of the best instant cryptocurrency platforms where you can buy or trade crypto instantly.
The exchanges are:
The advantage with these platforms is the way they operate.
They are connected to other platforms with a trading algorithm that scans the market for good prices.
So instead of trading on one platform, you can look for coins on 10 different platforms at the same time.
This way they can offer you a lot of different cryptocurrencies with very low fees.
Can you buy and sell Bitcoin instantly?
Yes it’s possible.
You can buy and sell Bitcoin through instant platforms.
You don’t need to create and account and these platforms are connected to several other crypto exchanges.
This is possible thanks to very smart algorithm that scans the market on other exchanges for cryptocurrencies and good prices.
For example, if you are buying coins on SimpleSwap instant platform, you might acutally get the coins from Binance or Bitfinex.
Yes thats right.
The instant platforms are connected to many other exchanges to let you buy and sell bitcoin instantly.
1. SimpleSwap Instant Crypto Exchange Review
Supported coins on SimpleSwap
SimpleSwap is currently supporting 300+ coins today and this list will probably grow with time.
I am not able to list all the coins in this test because it would ruins the experience.
But you are free to check all of them out on the exchange after you finish reading.
Here is a snapshot of the cryptocurrency section where you are able to search for your specific coin.
This list is almost endless but they have a search bar to make things easier.
Now this is a good reason to use SimpleSwap if you are looking for an exchange with a lot of coins.
Sometimes you are looking for a new coin or a weird coin none heard about and you just need to find an exchange that is supporting it.
Then SimpleSwap will have your back with one of the longest list of supported cryptocurrencies.
There is also a list of coins on the first page where the exchange section is.
It’s a dropdown menu of their list and here you can also search for your specific coin.
Since SimpleSwap is free from sign ups, it’s very easy to start exchanging coins and it takes literally no time at all to start using this exchange.
This is why I like instant crypto exchanges.
If I’m looking for a special coin and I don’t have time to do a full KYC sign up, this is the best option.
The time to exchange coins is between 5-60 minutes.
Deposit methods on SimpleSwap
SimpleSwap is not a traditional exchange where you have an account and deposit using a credit card.
On SimpleSwap you are using your wallet address as storage for your coins.
So in order for you to make an exchange, all you need is the cryptocurrency you want to exchange.
For example, let’s say that you would like to buy DigiByte.
But you only have Bitcoin at the moment.
That’s great, because you can swap your Bitcoin for DigiByte on SimpleSwap.
Here is an image of how that would look.
As you see to the left, you type in how much Bitcoin you want to send.
Then on the right side you choose the cryptocurrency you want to swap to and SimpleSwap will tell you how much you will get.
You also have to add a DigiByte wallet address where the new DigiByte coins will land.
That’s how easy it is to use SimpleSwap.
Trading fees on SimpleSwap
SimpleSwap does not have a traditional % fee on their trades, or swaps.
Instead, they rely on finding the best rates for you and they do this buy using several differnet traditional exchanges.
This is how it works.
When you ask to swap your coin for another coin, SimpleSwap is searching several other exchanges for the best rates.
They offer customers cetrain rate that they ot from this market analysis.
If the exchange is executed at a better rate than expected, SimpleSwap gets a small profit.
This is how they describe their comission.
And here are their exchange partners.
As you see, it can be quite profitable to trade on Simpleswap considering they don’t even have a fixed % fee on your trades.
They only rely on finding better prices than you normally would find and then they get a cut.
I like it!
In my view, SimpleSwap seems very interesting.
You have to understand that this is not a normal Cryptocurrency exchange and there are no fancy trading interfaces or charts.
But what you get is something completely different.
You get to be in charge of your own cryptocurrency and act as your own safety storage through your own wallets.
If you feel that you can handle this in a safe way, sometimes that is more secure than traditional exchange security.
Things are very fast and cheap on SimpleSwap.
There is no fixed trading fee and you have over 300 coins to choose from.
I am more than happy with my trading on their exchange and I think you will be as well.
If you would like to trade on SimpleSwap, click here to visit the exchange.
|300+ supported coins||No Credit Card option|
|Support team available|
|No fixed trading fee|
|No sign up needed|
|Very easy to use|
2. ChangeHero Instant Crypto Exchange Review
Supported coins on ChangeHero
ChangeHero is another instant crypto exchange with a lot of coins available to buy and trade.
The exact number is not sure but they say there are 100+ cryptocurrencies supported.
Here is a snapshot of the exchange section on their first page.
Here you are free to scroll down until you find your coin.
They may not have as many coins as SimpleSwap but they have many of the most popular cryptocurrencies out there.
You can choose to either trade with a fixed rate, where you are sure to get the price they give you.
Or, choose Best rate which is a floating rate that may find better prices.
So in some cases it might be worth a try.
Deposit methods on ChangeHero
On ChangeHero you can choose between exchanging your own cryptocurrencies or buy crypto with a credit or debit card.
This is what it looks like on the platform when you choose to buy with a debit or credit card.
This is an upgrade from most instant crypto exchanges.
Most exchanges only let you swap your own coins from wallet to wallet.
But here you have the option to actually buy the coins from the platform.
When you click Buy a new page willl pop up and you are asked to put your card details.
If you have ever purchased something online you know the drill.
It looks like this on ChangeHero.
As you can see they may ask you to verify your identification, but that’s only the first time you use your credit card.
When you have done this, you are free to buy as many times as you like without ID verification.
I think ChangeHero deserves a spot on the list thanks to the option to pay with a credit or debit card.
When you trade cryptocurrencies you sometimes need several options to pay for your coins.
In the end, it doesn’t matter which payment method you use, I think both are very fast and simple to use.
You can buy crypto with USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, RUB and other fiat currencies.
Trading fees on ChangeHero
ChangeHero are very clear with their trading fees.
They have a basic exchange fee of 0.50%.
This is very reasonable and also another reason to be on the list.
There are many exchanges who are trying to rob people with insane trading fees.
So this fee is nothing to be worried about, you can swap your coins without thinking your account balance will get eaten by fees.
ChangeHero doesn’t have as many coins as other similar exchanges.
I’m sure there will be plenty of coins added to this list with time.
The fee on ChangeHero is fixed which I like and it’s a very low trading fee so thats a plus.
I definitely like the option to buy crypto with credit or debit card and this puts them higher on my list.
If you would like to trade on ChangeHero, click here to visit the exchange.
|Credit / Debit Card option||Not a huge list of coins|
|Very low trading fee|
|No sign up needed|
3. Changelly Instant Crypto Exchange Review
Supported coins on Changelly
Changelly is one of the more famous instant cryptocurrency platforms on the market.
They currently supports 150+ coins for their users.
They have a very nice list of coins to scroll through where you can see if your favourit cryptocurrency is here.
They will also give you a brief description about all coins if you find a coin you haven’t seen before.
That’s pretty cool.
I’m sure you will find what you are looking for.
However, if your coins are not here you can always check the other exchanges.
Deposit methods on Changelly
Changelly is another instant crypto exchanges that accepts Credit Card payments.
Here are all their accepted payment methods:
- Credit Card
- Apple Pay
- Bank Transfer
This is what makes Changelly stick out from the rest of these platforms.
The variety of payment methods makes it very accesible for most crypto traders.
If you are looking for a fast way of buying your cryptocurrency and you want several options of payments.
Then Changelly is your pick.
At the moment Changelly accepts 3 fiat currencies.
Trading fees on Changelly
Changelly offers both fixed and locked rates when you swap.
The fixed trading fee is always 0.25% and the floating can vary a little bit.
This is another good reason to choose Changelly.
So far only SimpleSwap beats this but still, it’s almost nothing.
You will enjoy trading with the knowledge that Changelly won’t ripp you off with extra costs.
For me Changelly is definitely one of the best instant crypto exchanges out there.
They also have a reputation in the crypto community and that makes it feel a little bit more secure to use.
They have a live chat support aswell which makes it both safer and easier if you have any questions.
Trading has been good to me so far on Changelly and I will keep trading here for a long time to come.
If you would like to trade on Changelly, click here to visit the exchange.
|Credit Card and Bank Transfer||Doesn’t support many fiat currencies|
|Plenty of coins|
|Very low trading fees|
4. FixedFloat Instant Crypto Exchange Review
Supported coins on FixedFloat
FixedFloat currently supports 20 coins.
Here is a snapshot of all of them.
This may not be the longest list but you will find many of the most popular coins.
I think FixedFloat are workin on intergrating more cryptocurrencies to their platform.
So if we stick around for a while I’m sure they’ve extended this list.
Deposit methods on FixedFloat
On FixedFloat you are only able to transact with cryptocurrencies.
But this is a very easy process.
When you’ve chosen the coin you would like to exchane you will come to this page.
You have 30 minutes to copy the address and and send your Bitcoin or any other currency you choose.
You can also choose to have the exchange notifying you when the transaction is done.
Enter your email adress and they will send you a notification.
When this is done you will be awaiting the confirmation and then perform the exchange.
Done deal, very straight forward!
As we can see, instant exchanges are all about speed, so if you need to swap for a coin very fast, choose one of these exchanges.
Trading fees on FixedFloat
The fixed rate is 1% and the floating rate is 0.50%.
The difference is:
The fixed rate is guaranteed.
The floating rate will take what ever rate is available when your funds arrive.
So sometimes you will get a better rate with the floating rate.
Other times it will give you a worse rate depending on the exchanges.
FixedFloat doesn’t have the same variety of coins but they do have a very user-friendly interface.
I also know that their customer support is of highest standards and will always greet you in the best way.
I’m very happy with FixedFloat.
They are stepping up and are in for the long-term in the exchange space.
Trading has been very good on FixedFloat and I will keep exchanging the major coins here.
If you would like to trade on FixedFloat, click here to visit the exchange.
|Very user-friendly interface||Not many cryptocurrencies|
|Decent trading fees||No fiat payment|
|Awesome support + live chat|
5. CoinSwitch Instant Crypto Exchange Review
Supported coins on CoinSwitch
CoinSwitch also has a massive coins list with over 400 cryptocurrencies supported.
They have a very nice search page on their platform where you can search any coin they have.
It says “Search from 645 coins”.
If that’s true then coinswitch definitely has the biggest list of coins on the market.
But the platform is advertising 400+ coins so there might not be that many.
But still, when you are looking for special altcoins, try coinswitch first.
Deposit methods on CoinSwitch
CoinSwitch also let’s you buy crypto with Credit Card.
They are actually using the same payment vencor as Changelly.
This tells me they are trusted.
They also have a long list of fiat currency to choose from.
Unless you are from a very exotic country, I guarantee you will find your local currency here.
You can of course exchange crypto to crypto on CoinSwitch if you want.
Something special with CoinSwitch is that you can track your orders.
When you buy crypto or swap coins you will get an order ID.
Enter your order ID to see the process.
This is smart if you want to use your coins as soon as they arrive.
Trading fees on CoinSwitch
CoinSwitch has over 10 exchanges integrated on to their platform.
This let’s them have very low trading fees.
The basic transaction fee is 0% – 0.49%..
This depends on which exchange they find the best prices from.
So if you are lucky you will transact your coins with 0% fees.
This is a huge advantage over many other exchanges.
CoinSwitch has the biggest pool of cryptocurrencies out of any isntant crypto exchange I’ve seen.
I can’t imagine that you will not find what you are looking for here.
This combined with low trading fees, which is sometimes 0% makes CoinSwitch a highly ranked exchange for me.
When I need to find the special coin none else have, I’m always going to CoinSwitch.
If you would like to trade on CoinSwitch, click here to visit the exchange.
